| VACEP
maintains active dialogue with the Virginia Department of Medical Assistance Services
(DMAS), the state agency responsible for Medicaid. Current
projects:
- Seek repeal of PEND program being applied to Level 3 visits
- Seek increase in payment for services to 100% of the Medicare fee schedule
- Prudent Layperson Implementation updated 5/15/01 ; updated 7/18/01
