Luis F. Eljaiek, Jr, MD, FACEP and Corrine E. Lahti, MD, FACEP (Burke) were elected to serve one-year terms as Alternate Councillors. Members currently serving a two-year term as Councillor, expiring in 2005, are Timothy C. Evans, MD, FACEP (Richmond) and James R. Dudley, MD, MBA.

Election of officers to serve one-year terms was held at the first meeting of the Board of Directors on February 13. James R. Dudley, MD, MBA, assumed the office of President, Pamela A. Ross, MD, FACEP became the Immediate Past President, and Sabina A. Braithwaite was elected President-Elect. Elected for one year terms in the positions of Treasurer and Secretary were Luis F. Elajiek, Jr, MD, FACEP, and Stuart E. Brown, III, MD, FACEP, respectively.
