The purpose of the Committee is to provide the opportunity for VACEP members and other individuals interested in the future of emergency medicine to contribute to worthy candidates for elective offices in Virginia who have demonstrated their beliefs in the principles to which VACEP is dedicated. To further these purposes, the Committee is empowered to solicit, directly or indirectly, and accept, voluntary contributions and expenditures in connection with the attempt to influence the selection, nomination, or election of an individual to any non-federal elective office.
