Kelly Anne Foley, MD, FACEP

"Greetings!  My name is Kelly Anne Foley, MD, FACEP, and I am running for the position of Councilor. I began serving VACEP by my election to the board of directors in 1998. I served for 9 years on the board (the maximum allowed). In 2001 knowing my time was short for board involvement, I transitioned to the position of Alternate Councilor. In 2003 I became one of 5 Councilors who represent VACEP at the yearly ACEP Council meeting.

I can truly say that I look forward to the challenge and opportunity to continue to serve you as a Councilor.  The workings of the legislative branch of our college hold great interest for me.  I bring experience and seasoned diplomacy to this position and I hope I can count on your vote for my re-election.

My daily clinical life has changed. I have gone from being a core faculty member at EVMS, to clinician (still with EPT and EVMS) working part time hours. If anything this change will allow my schedule greater flexibility in order to fulfill my obligations as a Councilor.

Again I express my willingness to serve VACEP in the capacity as a Councilor and ask that you re-elect me to the position so I may continue to serve our membership.”
