"It is a great honor to be nominated for election as a Councillor to the American College of Emergency Physicians as a representative from the Virginia Chapter.  If elected, I will conscientiously serve and proudly represent the interests of our membership to the best of my abilities.

It has been a distinct pleasure and honor to have served as a councillor since 2000.  During this time I have learned much about the inner workings of the Council and parliamentary procedure, acquainted myself with the influential members of the organization, formed a close working relationship with our other councillors and enhanced my knowledge of the continuing issues affecting emergency physicians.  This experience has increased my ability to effectively represent the interests of our chapter in the Council.  I look forward to continuing in this role and am fully committed to providing my best effort on behalf of the membership for the duration of the two-year term.
