It is indeed my pleasure and honor to be nominated by the VACEP Nominating Committee for the position of Alternate Councilor for the upcoming year.

Over the many years of my Emergency Medicine practice I have had the opportunity to serve VACEP in several capacities.  These have ranged from Board of Director to my current standing as President-Elect.  Over these same years my practice has been solely in Virginia at both a tertiary care center and community hospital.  All of these have provided me with a broad overview of Emergency Medicine in the Commonwealth of Virginia and as such I believe I not only understand but can represent the interests of Emergency Physicians and VACEP at national ACEP.

I look forward to working with our Board and hope to hear from our membership over the following year on issues important to you.
