“It is a real honor to be nominated to serve on the VACEP Board of Directors. It would be a true pleasure and an honor to continue serving my colleagues in Emergency Medicine in this capacity.

Through my years on the board, I have been impressed by the dedication and professionalism of this organization and my fellow board members.  VACEP and the VACEP Board will continue in its role as a vigorous and successful advocate for the Emergency Physician, and for those patients whom we serve all across the state. I believe  the key role of the Board is to analyze and discuss issues impacting the practice of Emergency Medicine in Virginia, particularly those involving reimbursement, tort reform, crowding, and patient access, then to advocate effectively on behalf of Emergency Medicine and Emergency Physicians.  I believe further that it is important for VACEP to work with other organizations that share VACEP’s interest in these issues, and look forward to continuing this service.  In those discussions, I hope to bring a broad perspective, reflective of my varied experiences and training, and a willingness to work hard to achieve the goals of the College and its Board. Thank you all for the opportunity to continue my service to this fine organization.”
