2007 Annual Meeting and Elections
Election of Directors, Councilors & Alternates were held at the Annual Membership Meeting on February 14 at the Homestead. Presided over by Sabina A. Braithwiate, MD, FACEP, with special guest ACEP President Brian F. Keaton, MD, FACEP. Read about VACEP accomplishments in 2006!
Members also passed Bylaws amendments which will permit election of Directors and Councillors in the future by the full membership effective for the 2008 elections.
We are pleased to announce the following five members were each elected to serve a three year term on the Board of Directors (2007-2010):
Brian Rubenstein was elected to a one year term, filling the Board vacancy created by Derik King who recently moved to Missouri.

Three members were elected to serve two-year terms as Councillors to the ACEP meeting: James R. Dudley, MD, MBA , Timothy C. Evans, MD, FACEP and Kelly Ann Foley, MD, FACEP
Two alternate Councillors were elected to one year terms :
Ioliene Boenau, MD, FACEP and Luis F. Eljaiek, MD, FACEP

VACEP welcomes all members involvement in whatever capacity you are able, particularly on our committees (Education, Government Affairs, EMPAC, Membership Services), which is where a significant amount of the Board's work takes place. Committees are a great way to get to know VACEP, a great way for VACEP to get to know you, and a great opportunity to work with some of the finest Emergency Physicians I know.
